The New Inn - St Andrews

The New Inn was a pleasant surprise with a great location, just a short 10-minute walk to the town center. The room was spacious enough for 3 adults, and the beds were really comfortable. And free parking right around the corner was a nice bonus.

There were central heating, cable channels, and a writing desk in the room, truly enjoyed that.

Its staff was helpful and extremely friendly.

Check in at 4pm strictly. Arrive earlier for local cafe breakfast recommendations.

The facility had very low ceilings that were uncomfortable for taller guests. A significant downside was the lack of breakfast options and the restaurant's limited hours, leaving us without food for two nights. The TV was small and poorly positioned for viewing, and the coffee in the room was subpar.

Just stayed at New Inn, and man, did it disappoint. The room was freezing cold upon arrival, had to wait for the staff to turn the heat on-very thoughtful! What's worse? No breakfast offered, despite my expectations. I almost considered leaving a good review, but not a single complimentary gesture to mark my stay! Unbelievable!

The room was clean and well presented. It had a lovely shower and enough space to keep our bikes. We were just a 20-minute walk into town, great. The parking available right in front was a bonus too 😊

The steaks at The Criterion nearby were absolute legends! Our Double Room was surprisingly quiet amid the bustling pub, and the comfy bed made for a solid night's sleep after exploring all day.

Charming beachfront experience with room for improvement

Staying here was a treat with its cozy, laid-back vibe and proximity to the beach. The spacious room added comfort to our weekend, and I loved being just steps away from the water and a good food spot. Communication regarding our luggage after checkout could have been better, as we didn't receive any responses.

I loved my spacious room and the great shower pressure—it made my stay super comfy! The food was surprisingly tasty, better than I expected given the prices. Just wish the Wi-Fi reached my room better.

Comfortable room with tv and electric kettle. Lack of luggage storage was inconvenient.

This hotel is ideally located just 1 km from the Winter Garden, and the rooms are a good size and compact, complete with a bath, plus there's a bar on-site.
